Classic among the classics, this cocktail is a worldwide celebrity. It was called the Milano-Torino at first, then renamed Americano to celebrate the Americans’ arrival in the 1910s-1920s.
Adding soda will make you travel between bitterness and freshness. Aficionados will simply love it!
You can keep your Americano bottle in the fridge for it to be ready anytime. In an old fashioned glass, use large-size ice cubs (the larger the ice cubs are, the less dilution they cause on the drink). Add the dose of your choice, between 5 and 8 cl. Your cocktail is ready.
You can add an orange peel for decoration and if you want more freshness a little bit of soda.
